After the successful NL Space Week, the Network & Drinks is returning to continue its mission of connecting the curious. We have exciting updates to share with you in the upcoming edition, including the opening of registrations for the 8th Cassini Hackathon, which will take place from 22-24 November. Thursday is set in a festive Halloween atmosphere, and you’ll have the opportunity to meet young talents, organisations, and startups from the Dutch space industry to expand your network for new opportunities.
In this edition:
🌕‘Ask the Community’ where we will talk about the opportunities that extend from the Space for Talent Programme.
🌑 Pitch by Turtle Island Space – Practical online education platform, where users command a real ground station and capture satellite signals. Brian Treacy has some news he will share with the community!
🌑 BeeSage is a modular beehive monitoring system that advances food security by supporting pollinators through data-driven beekeeping. This agritech startup builds software and hardware to help beekeepers, farmers and conservation stakeholders mitigate risks and enable informed decisions. Space technology utilised includes GNSS and Earth observation. BeeSage’s mission is deepening humanity’s understanding of insect pollinators and (maybe) bringing honey bees to Mars one day.
🌑 New Incubatee Regenrate, assisting biofuel producers in sourcing certified feedstock from intermediary crops, which are oil crops grown in winter after the main food crops are harvested. The startup’s software platform leverages satellite technology meaning biofuel producers can source sustainable feedstock that complies with European regulations.

NL Space Campus Network Community
Together we make the campus a meeting place for the space (interested) community! A place and platform where entrepreneurs, education, research, government, and the environment meet. And where open innovation originates. This often starts with a chance encounter, a shared passion, and a new idea. Bring colleagues we don’t know yet, startups that want to meet other startups, young professionals that want to meet older professionals, and maybe even that curious potential investor. Feel free and welcome to share this invitation with people in your network who are also curious to join our Network & Drinks and join the growing space community of NL Space Campus.
Every last Thursday of the month at 17:00 CET we host a special Network and Drinks for everyone interested in Space, where multiple start-ups and innovative companies pitch their potential and ideas and visitors can grow their network.
The event is on campus at the Space Business Innovation Centre Noordwijk. Every edition we have multiple pitches from interesting initiatives, start-ups and projects. You will also hear updates from NL Space Campus, the community and SBIC Noordwijk. During the networking part, you can also meet and talk to our partners such as SBIC, NSO, SpaceNed, NVR, ESA ESTEC, LDE Universities and SGAC.
Want to pitch yourself? Anyone who wants to share their initiative, organisation or project on stage, is welcome to apply for a 3-minute pitch. You can fill out this form and we’ll get back to you.
