HERMON Heritage will restore and transform the former Town Hall and City Office, located at Raadhuislaan 11 in Tegelen, into a hospitality venue and residential care complex. To mark this transformation—signifying the end of one era and the beginning of a new one—HERMON Heritage has invited Dorota Roszkowska to organize this special art project.
THE ART PROJECT ‘COSMOS’ DEPICTS CONNECTION AND WONDER The cosmos (or Kosmos) always brings ever-changing energies while also binding us together.
The art project includes a multidisciplinary exhibition and various activities. It is developed and carried out in collaboration with (local) artists and institutions in the fields of art, culture, and heritage. By combining different art disciplines such as ceramics, (light) sculptures, paintings, installations, acoustic sound-absorbing paintings, video, and sound experiences, the exhibition offers a wide array of impressions.
Visitors can relax in a comfortable chair. From there, it’s possible to overlook the large exhibition space and take another look at the artworks that stood out to them from a distance.

During the exhibition’s opening hours, several photographs of the former town hall’s interior will be displayed in the entrance hall. At specific times, volunteers from DE HEEMKUNDIGE KRING TEGELEN (Tegelen Historical Society) will be present to provide information about the old town hall. Scan the QR code on the flyer for times.
