Be part of NL Space Week 2025

Whether you want to co-organise an activity or launch your own, there’s space to get involved. The complete programme will be published and regularly updated on the NL Space Week website. New ideas aren’t just welcome; they’re vital to reflecting the full strength and diversity of the Dutch space ecosystem. How can you get involved?

With the Partner Kick-Off on 1 April, NL Space Week 2025 is officially underway. Partners from last year’s editions gathered at SBIC Noordwijk to exchange ideas, share plans, and connect around one shared goal: making this year’s edition the most visible, inclusive, and meaningful yet.

“Public support for space is crucial not only to attract future talent but also to strengthen long-term investment in the sector.”
Marc Sandelowsky, Director of NL Space Campus

NL Space Week 2025

From 4 to 12 October 2025, the Dutch space community will once again open its doors to the public, professionals, and future talent — showcasing the strength and relevance of space technology for society. NL Space Week is more than a series of events. It’s a national platform to connect with new audiences and show the value of space in everyday life.

A moment to strengthen the sector

The Partner Kick-Off marked the beginning of this years’ event. During the Kick-Off, partners explored how we can go beyond our usual circles and engage meaningfully with education, entrepreneurship, policy, and the wider public.

Partners strongly emphasized on cross-sector collaboration — creating opportunities to share knowledge, foster partnerships, and increase impact by involving organisations from both inside and outside the space domain. These connections are key to growing the sector’s visibility and relevance. Dozens of partners are already on board, and now is the time to get involved.

Added was a moment to introduce the new Event Manager for NL Space Week 2025 Manon Douwes. She will coordinate and support the development of the programme in the lead-up to October.

“By joining forces and amplifying each other’s visibility, we can achieve greater impact together.”
Maaike Smelter, Community Manager, NL Space Campus

growing programme open for contributions and visibility: how can you support?

This year’s programme includes partnering highlights such as Weekend van de Wetenschap, ESTEC Open Days, SRON and Oude Sterrewacht Open Days, and events such as the official opening of Cometlab, Network & Drinks XL, Space Lady of The Year Award, EO4Impact, and the NL Space Tent. While these events set the tone, the lineup is open to new contributions.

Hosting your own event with the NL Space Week Brand

Hosting your own event is a great way to contribute to NL Space Week while giving visibility to your work, your organisation, and the broader space sector in the Netherlands. Every new activity helps to highlight the relevance of space to society and inspire new audiences.

Share the word

Creative ideas are welcomed, but one of the least intensive but very supportive actions you can take, is to share the posts, posters, stickers and especially the story mouth to mouth. Invite your colleagues to join you at events, share a poster online and talk to others about NL Space Week. That is how we get the word out the best!

Collaborate or find your partner at the Partner Meetings

Many partners have ideas but cannot realise those on their own. Some have a location, another may have time to invest, and again another may have a network with a need to be inspired. Those 3 elements would make the greatest event possible. So don’t be held back if you are missing an element for your idea, let’s find the best partnerships possible in our ecosystem and make your idea a reality to support the NL Space Week 2025.

Get involved

Whether you’re planning to host an event, contribute to one, or help share the story of NL Space Week — now is the time to act. Every contribution strengthens the programme and helps expand its reach. The next Partner meeting happens at 2 June in Noordwijk. Do you want to receive in invitation?
