One Space Hub Platform Launches, Expanding Opportunities for Space Entrepreneurs and New Partnerships

During NL Space Week 2024, the One Space Hub (OSH) Platform was officially launched to help guide and support entrepreneurs in the space industry. The online platform is designed to assist space enthusiasts at various stages of their entrepreneurial journey, making programmes more aligned, visible, and accessible.

The One Space Hub Platform was launched as part of a broader initiative to streamline the entrepreneurial journey within the space industry. This new platform offers a centralized space for space entrepreneurs to find the resources, knowledge, and networks they need to succeed. With support from key national partners, the platform promises to make it easier for entrepreneurs to connect and thrive, particularly in the early stages of their ventures.

About One Space Hub

OneSpaceHub (OSH) was launched in 2023 to address a clear need for more comprehensive support for entrepreneurs in the space sector. This two-year programme, led by the NL Space Campus and supported by RVO’s One Single Hub initiative, connects entrepreneurs with a network of national experts across three provinces in the Netherlands. Parya Pasha, Project Manager, shared the initiative’s vision, saying, “We have created a platform bringing together individual programmes that have previously even been in competition with each other but now have come together to create something truly remarkable.”

The project focuses on improving the alignment, visibility, and accessibility of programmes that span crucial stages in the entrepreneurial process: education, ideation, pre-incubation, and incubation. Key partners work together to offer expertise in financing, talent, valorisation, and marketing, ensuring that entrepreneurs have access to the right resources when they need them most. OneSpaceHub aims to create a unified, accessible path for space entrepreneurs—from the very first spark of inspiration to the later stages of scaling their ventures.

OSH Platform

The OneSpaceHub Platform is designed to support and develop the next generation of space entrepreneurs. Offering challenges, guidance, and support at every stage of the entrepreneurial journey, the platform connects users with opportunities that align with their educational schedules. Whether it’s for students from MBO, HBO, or WO levels, the platform provides pathways to deepen knowledge and develop practical skills that will be essential as they enter the space industry.

Expanding Partnerships to Support Space Entrepreneurs

The One Space Hub project is powered by a growing network of key partner organizations, each contributing to the development and support of space entrepreneurs across the Netherlands. Current partners include:

  • NL Space Campus
  • Radboud University & Mercator Launch
  • Aerospace Innovation Hub
  • InHolland
  • LIS – Leidse Instrumentmakers School
  • ITC Faculty, University of Twente
  • SBIC – Space Business Innovation Centre Noordwijk
  • PLNT Leiden Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship

At the launch event, Parya Pasha emphasized the power of this collaboration and the future potential for growth: “One Space Hub platform serves as a tangible representation of our collaboration and our commitment to continue working together.” She also shared her vision for the future, suggesting that the initiative is only getting started: “I propose we move away from calling it ‘The Consortium’ since the project is winding down, but our partnership will endure. We aim to expand and welcome more members, creating a unified hub that supports the entire entrepreneurial journey.”

Looking ahead, One Space Hub is focused on growing its network and building new partnerships that will expand the platform’s impact. “We are excited to expand our efforts with scalable programmes and new collaborations,” Parya stated. The growing network will ensure that the resources available to entrepreneurs are even more diverse and comprehensive, enabling more businesses to succeed and scale within the space industry.
